Making a green smoothie part of your day, especially starting your day, is the best thing you can do for yourself! It’s light and gives you energy. Remember when making smothies, you can adjust any smoothie to your liking (sweetness, texture, etc.).
If you are thinking your blender isn’t good enough, let me stop you right there! When I started drinking these, I had an everyday blender- not a fancy one. And guess what? I still don’t own the “best of the best”. But no excuses! I have instructions for both types of blenders below.
- 2 handful spinach
- 2 kale leaves, stems removed
- ½ cup water, or as needed
- ½ cup frozen pineapple
- ½-1 cup green grape
If using a high quality blender (such as a vitamix or ninja): Add all of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
If using a not-so high quality blender (such as an oaster, etc.): Add the liquid base first then add the ingredients in one by one to ensure the smooth is as smooth as possible!
